Family-friendly

We have a young daughter of our own, and are more than willing to accommodate special requests. Our family rooms are big enough to allow you to spread out, even if you need a cot as well.

Pet-friendly

We are happy to accommodate pets by prior arrangement but do ask that you bring a bed or blanket for them to sleep on.

Parking

There is limited parking space behind the hotel on the Friarsgate. There are public car parks on the Friarsgate and below the Tourist Information Centre.

We have secure indoor storage space for bicycles. Motorcycles can be parked in the beer garden overnight.

Internet Access

The hotel is a wireless hotspot, but six foot thick stone walls mean that we cannot guarantee you a high-speed connection.

Leisure facilities

Jedburgh has a heated indoor swimming pool with steam room. These are in the Laidlaw Memorial Pool complex on the opposite side of the river and are open to the public. Please ask us to check that the pool is available before you walk down, as it is heavily used by the local schools and swimming clubs.

During the holidays, a 'Bouncy Castle' is set up in the pool for several hours each afternoon.

Smoking Policy

In line with Scottish legislation, the entire hotel is smoke-free with the exception of the beer garden. It is illegal to smoke anywhere in the hotel building.

Accessibility

Although most of the ground floor is wheelchair accessible, due to the nature of the building we are currently not able to accommodate guests who have difficulty with stairs.
