Staying at the Hotel

Over the past 18 months, all the bedrooms in this listed building have been upgraded and modernised. All our rooms are en suite, with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms also have flatscreen TVs, free wireless broadband internet access, and plenty of space to spread out and relax.

In common with many older hotels, all our bedrooms are on the top (second) floor and we regret the due to the nature of the building we have not been able to install a lift. If you have mobility issues, we will be delighted to provide you with the contact details of accommodation providers with ground floor bedrooms.

The hotel is a completely smoke free area.

Most of the bedrooms are to the rear of the building, and hence very quiet indeed. The double bedroom in the older part of the building, believed by some local historians to be one of the original towers of Jedburgh, was reputedly slept in by Mary Queen of Scots when she visited Jedburgh.

Other famous guests over the years have included Acker Bilk and, apparently, the Rolling Stones!
